James John D'Arrigo was born in Canonsburg, Pennysylvania, the grandson of immigrant Americans from Italy and Slovenia.
His hometown is noteworthy as the birth place of legendary Perry Como. James began his music studies at age five on
the piano and the saxophone at the age of ten. Since then, he went on to earn both a bachelors and masters degree in
music from West Virginia and Northern Illionois Universities. His professional career started at age eighteen and continues
in the world's entertainment capital Las Vegas.
